ARE YOU NEW TO HOCKEY? Step one is to obtain a Hockey Canada # for your player..
Here are the steps you require to obtain a Hockey Canada number for your player:
- Hockey Alberta mandates that one parent from each family complete the Respect in Sport Parent Course found here: https://www.hockeyalberta.ca/members/respect-sport/.
- It takes about an hour and costs $12.50.
- This will create a Hockey Canada number for your player.
- Choose Hockey Edmonton as the association when you add your child to the course.
- This course must show up on his Hockey Canada record before he can be added to a team.
- Create a new account with Spordle: https://account.spordle.com/login
- Add your player to the new account.
- Once added, you will be able to register him/her directly through the Spordle Dashboard.
- Within your account you can then add/link all your related members in the Link a Member.
- Search players and coaches by name and date of birth to locate and select.
- When you register, you can upload a copy of your child's birth certificate as well as a Proof of Residency (current utility bill i.e. EPCOR or Direct Energy bill).
