EMHA Alumni

The Edmonton Minor Hockey Association Alumni (EMHA) was incorporated in August of 2000 to:

  • Raise funds for the development of minor hockey in Edmonton and to promote, foster, and encourage the development of hockey in general.
  • Assist underprivileged and low-income families with fees for registration and equipment.
  • Assist in Minor Hockey programs sponsored by the EMHA.
  • Support and provide funding for non-profit minor hockey programs.

The EMHA Alumni has partnered with KIDSPORT EDMONTON and SPORTCENTRAL in order to better assist underprivileged and low-income families for hockey registration funding.

For funding grants to assist with registration fees for Hockey Edmonton teams, please visit the KidSport Edmonton application website by clicking here. If your child is in need of hockey equipment, KidSport, a social service agency, a school, or a community leader can refer you to Sport Central to get outfitted with head to toe gear. Click here for more information on Sport Central. Only individuals aged 17 years and under are eligible.

The EMHA Alumni recently presented KidSport and Sport Central each with a $25,000.00 cheque for the wonderful work they do to enable our Edmonton youth to participate in sport.
