Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest

Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest
Scotiabank and the Edmonton Oilers have teamed up to offer a positive hockey experience for girls in our community and an opportunity to learn from some of the top hockey players in Canada on Saturday, March 26.

Girls 7-14 years old will participate in on-ice training, off-ice training and a special off-ice classroom session hosted by Hockey Canada. With the help of local professional hockey players, the Edmonton Oilers, Hockey Canada and Scotiabank Teammate Natalie Spooner, participants will learn to become better players and even better teammates.

Scotiabank is happy to provide this event FREE of charge to all participants.

What to Expect
Girls HockeyFest is a half-day event (either morning or afternoon sessions are available) for U9, U11, and U13/U15 aged players. Participants will rotate between three sessions; on-ice skills, off-ice training and a classroom session. The program also offers an inspirational lunchtime presentation from Scotiabank Teammates and a member of the PWHPA (Professional Women's Hockey Player's Association) including a Q&A and participant giveaways; both participants and parents are welcome! Lunch will be provided for participants consisting of both food and beverage (options based on location).
