EFHL's Recreation League ("Rec League") focuses on teaching basic hockey skills and sportsmanship in a no-check, low pressure environment that fosters a love of the game.

There are six age categories of play based age as of December 31 of the current season: U9, U11, U13, U15, U18, and U21. Registration is open to all players in the metro-Edmonton area (including all Districts, Operating Areas, and Interlocks).

• For players who live on the north side of Edmonton:
  • Hockey Edmonton will be taking Rec League registrations so all players have the chance to play in EFHL's new Rec League for the 2022-23 season.

IMPORTANT! If the player has played organized hockey before, please contact Hockey Edmonton at office@hockeyedmonton.ca with the players name and birthdate, so a transfer can be requested before the player registers online.
