Our Members Have Spoken!

We have compiled the results from our recent survey of the Hockey Edmonton membership. It is interesting to see, for example, that as our players grow older they enjoy travelling greater distances to play games. The results also showed that, while the same holds true for higher levels of play, there are just as many players at recreational levels who are happy to stay closer to home to play games.

This is a great reminder to us that while we have taken great strides to enhance our program offerings in the elite streams, we must also remain dedicated to improving the programming in the recreational areas, as well.

We have not done a survey of our membership for a number of years and this work was overdue. We are committed to better communication with our members moving forward and this type of broad survey will be carried out annually. We will also do smaller, targeted surveys as issues arise.

Your input will help us better serve you in the future and make the player experience better than ever. We thank the more than one thousand people who took the time to share their thoughts.
